In response to the online discussion regarding the charges pending against Officer Tito Reyes, this office will be representing Officer Reyes in this matter. I would simply caution everyone against speculating or rushing to any judgment or conclusion without knowing all the facts. Experience has shown that in circumstances such as this, there are inevitably two sides to every story. Officer Reyes has every confidence in the judicial process and, if the case goes forward, will look forward to having his day in court.

Another dismissal on behalf of a client in a criminal matter today. It's always professionally enjoyable to deal with a prosecutor who's objective, open-minded and willing to reconsider their pursuit of a case when given meritorious reasons not to.... "It shall be the primary duty of every prosecutor, not to seek convictions BUT TO SEE THAT JUSTICE IS DONE." Well done!
