You CAN NOT claim your pets as a dependent...so don't try it!!!

The following article explains that there are some tax related expenses you can claim ONLY IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

* Service animals might be a qualified medical expense deduction.
* You can claim expenses for fostering pets.
* Moving expenses related to your pet might qualify.
* You can claim pets that generate income for you through a business.
* You can claim charitable donations to a pet-related nonprofit.

Pet owners can't claim pets as dependents for tax purposes, mainly because they don't have Social Security numbers. However, there are some pet-related tax breaks.
