After a career in the United States Army spanning twenty five years, Don DeCort retired as a Colonel, and entered private practice in 1994. He opened DeCort Family Law Mediation in 2015 and now focuses solely on family mediation with particular emphasis on military aspects of divorce. Don is admitted to practice in Texas, Florida, and the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida. He is a me
mber of Hillsborough County Bar Association, American Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, Florida Bar, and American Inns of Court. He holds an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest peer rating for legal knowledge and ethical standards.
