Meet Attorney Summer Nelson, founder of Nelson Law Office. ⚖️✨

Born and raised in Chisago County, Minnesota, Summer is proud to serve the community she has always called home. A graduate of Chisago Lakes High School, she went on to attend Sierra Nevada College in Lake Tahoe before pursuing her passion for helping others through the law. She earned her law degree from Thomas Jefferson Law School in San Diego, graduating in the top 5% of her class while participating in Law Review, Moot Court, and serving as a Student Ambassador.

Summer returned home to build a practice focused on helping individuals, families, and business owners navigate life’s most important moments with confidence and clarity. She works specifically in divorce, complex family law matters, adoption, termination of parental rights, business formation, estate planning and contracts.

As a business owner herself, Summer is passionate about helping entrepreneurs protect what they’ve worked hard to build.

Outside the office, Summer enjoys endurance running, cycling, gardening, reading, hunting, fishing with her husband, and spending time with their son. She also gives back to the community by volunteering as a coach for the St. Croix Falls Girls Basketball team.
