I'm saddened to report that my lifelong friend David Jaffe (Niles West Class of 71) passed away this morning from heart failure after a lifelong battle with diabetes, (taking shots since fifth grade), and further complications from heart and kidney issues. Dave maintained a positive attitude and his great sense of humor throughout all of his physical ordeals, and remained a die hard Beatles fan throughout his entire life. He was a wonderful son, husband and father, and a great friend to all who knew him. Services will be private, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date. May his memory be for a blessing to all who knew him.

I just read this and thought it worth passing along.

Possibly the most important thing you'll read this year...
