Covid 19 Economic boost payment

You may conclude that the IRS does not know a bank account to which to automatically send the Covid 19 Economic boost payment. It was sent to many people April 15, 2020 directly to their bank accounts.

Perhaps you can speed delivery of the Covid 19 by going to the IRS.GOV website and finding the Get My Payment site. Other sites look similar. Be sure you choose the IRS.GOV choice.

At that site you can check the status of your payment. You can also add your bank account info to have the money directly deposited, if the payment is not already “scheduled.”

“Get My Payment is the only option available to enter your bank information to receive your payment through direct deposit instead of by mail if your payment has not already been scheduled.”
