So relieved for a not guilty on all three counts jury verdict today. My stress levels have been very high for the past few weeks due to this trial, which took four and a half days. But nothing compared to my client losing the last 7 months of his life due to pretrial incarceration and a bond that no working class person or family could possibly post. He goes home a free man tonight, acquitted by a thoughtful jury after 3 hours of deliberation, who will have his eternal gratefulness and my eternal respect.

Our office is moving! As of 8/1/17 our new address will be 421 S. 9th Street Suite 130, Lincoln NE 68508. This new mailing address is already active, as is our new phone number at (402) 937-8937. Please utilize our current physical address until this move has been finalized. We are looking forward to more space and a close proximity to the courthouse. Thanks for your understanding.

Just heard back on a successful defense of a civil case (bench trial from last week) related to a laundromat fire. Add that to a successful defense on a protection order show cause hearing a couple weeks back. Not every case is the trial of the century, but small or large a favorable outcome for the client is always welcome.
