Meet the 2026 Atwood Law Clerks!
JoAnn Edwards joins the firm as a second-year law student at the University of Nebraska College of Law with an exceptional academic and practical background. She graduated summa cm laude from the University of Alabama with a 4.0 GPA, majoring in Political Science and History with a concentration in Legal History. Before law school, JoAnn spent nearly two years with the Tuscaloosa Public Defender’s Office, where she conducted client interviews, supported attorneys with discovery and case preparation, and ultimately earned a paid position due to her work ethic and strong rapport with clients. She also interned with the Colorado Springs District Attorney’s Office, assisting with evidence management and investigative support.
Grace Reiman returns to Atwood Law as a third-year law student at the University of Nebraska College of Law, where she serves as a Student Ambassador and has competed in moot court and local and regional ABA Client Counseling competitions. Academically, her coursework has focused on litigation, including Evidence, Workers’ Compensation, and her favorite subject, Employment Law, for which she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award. Over her two years with Atwood Law, Grace has become an integral part of the team, gaining valuable hands-on experience. This year, she plans to further develop her courtroom skills by obtaining Senior Certified Law Student status, allowing her to represent clients in hearings and trials under attorney supervision.
JoAnn and Grace embody the commitment to client advocacy, professionalism, and excellence that are central to Atwood Law, and we are proud to have them at the firm.
