Please welcome the newest member of the Roffmann Law Office, attorney Morgan Miller!

Morgan joins our team as an associate attorney specializing in family law and divorce. She grew up in a small town in Colorado, and after graduating from Texas Tech University with a degree in agricultural communications, she earned her Juris Doctorate from Texas A&M University School of Law. Morgan brings valuable mediation and family law experience to The Roffmann Law Office, and she is passionate about providing empathetic, efficient, and effective services to every client. She understands how draining the legal process can be, and she enjoys helping people through difficult times. Outside of the office, Morgan enjoys running, playing volleyball, and spending time with her two cats. Welcome, Morgan!

Happy Meet the Staff Monday everyone! Today, we're introducing Lyric.

Lyric is another one of our team’s wonderful legal assistants. Lyric joined our office after earning her Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Science from Kansas City Metropolitan Community College. Lyric’s favorite part of working in family law is helping people navigate some of the toughest days of their lives. She has also enjoyed learning about criminal and traffic law since working with Attorney Roffmann, and she’s grown to appreciate that side of our practice as well. Outside of work, she spends every moment she can with her husband, Zach, and her 8-year-old daughter, Violet. They love cooking together, playing games, spending time with their five pets, and recently Pokémon Go has become a big part of their adventures! We are so glad to have Lyric on our team.

Happy Monday! Today we're introducing Chloe.

Chloe is one of our office’s fabulous legal assistants. Chloe came to our team after graduating with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and criminology and a minor in psychology from the University of Missouri Kansas City. During her time at UMKC, she engaged in victim advocacy training, served as a teaching assistant for corrections courses, established connections with local advocacy organizations, and was repeatedly honored on the Dean’s List. She finds great fulfillment in helping clients through some of the most challenging times in their lives and engaging in work that she is deeply passionate about. Outside of work, Chloe loves cooking, traveling, reading, going to concerts, and spending time with family and her dog, Gus.

It's Friday again which means we are excited to introduce you to another member of our team- Kara Key!

Kara Key is a dedicated and compassionate associate attorney at the Roffmann Law Office. Originally from Texas, Kara earned her law degree from Charleston School of Law in South Carolina in 2021 and has focused her practice exclusively on family law ever since. Licensed in Missouri, Ms. Key relocated to the Kansas City area in 2022, drawn to the Roffmann Law Office’s mission of providing high-quality legal representation with a client-centered approach. Kara loves practicing law because she enjoys helping people through the most difficult times of their lives. In her free time, Kara can be spotted spending time with friends, traveling, and cooking.

Kara is a member of the American Bar Association, the Clay County Bar Association, and the Association of Women Lawyers.

Happy Friday! We’re celebrating the start of the weekend by kicking off our staff introductions with attorney Andrew Roffmann. ⚖️

Andy is a 1996 graduate of UMKC School of Law. He opened and has maintained his solo practice since October, 2010. He focuses primarily on the areas of family law, criminal defense, and traffic matters. He is a trained mediator and Guardian ad Litem, and is often appointed to represent children and parents in the juvenile divisions in both Clay and Platte Counties. In addition to private practice, he has served as an Assistant County Counselor for Clay County since March, 2016. Andy says he loves practicing law because he enjoys helping people solve complex problems and being a voice for those who might not otherwise feel heard. Outside of work, Andy enjoys spending time with his family, attending sporting events, listening to live music, and traveling.

Andy is a member of the American Bar Association, the Clay County Bar Association, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the Platte County Bar Association, the Eastern Jackson County Bar Association, the Association of Missouri Mediators, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and the Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
