Here's a blog post on sports betting written by a Volume 11 Staff Editor for KJEARNL.

Hello Everyone!

I wanted to share the flyer for our event for February, so that those interested in interning would have time to work on their resume and cover letter. The deadline listed is February 15.

Enjoy the rest of your week! Don't forget about our event we have planned for Wednesday afternoon in Sanders!

01/14/2019

Welcome Back Everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday break! I wanted to fill you in on some of the events we have planned for you all.

This Wednesday afternoon (January 16th) in Sanders Hall, we are collaborating with Equine Law Society to host our guest speaker event with CEO of Keeneland to discuss the effects of the legal betting expansion in Kentucky.

Monday February 4th at noon, we will have a Skype session with Jesse Harbison, Director of Legal Services for the Arts & Business Council of Greater Nashville. She will be speaking to us a little bit about ABC's Volunteer Lawyers and Professionals for the Arts internship program and will be providing job search and career advice. As a former intern of the VLPA, I highly recommend it either after your 1L or 2L year. In addition, UK Intellectual Property Law Society will be teaming up with us on this one.

Food will be provided for both events! We hope to see you all there!

Hi everyone! I know you all are super busy preparing for finals, however I just wanted to remind everyone that we have a speaker tomorrow at noon in Sanders. Her name is Betty Kregor and she is coming to talk to us a little about her career and company that deals with mentoring professional athletes. She has asked that those attending take the quiz that I have linked below.
