Vinton|Moore is available to assist you during this COVID-19 epidemic. As a law office, we are considered “essential” and can therefore still meet with clients and maintain our law office. We do have to follow all recommendations which include:

1. Maintaining six foot distances during in-person meetings. Our conference room is equipped to handle this requirement and we can ensure that the six foot distance is respected.

2. Providing hand sanitizer. We have hand sanitizer available at our office for use during meetings.

3. Separate operating hours for vulnerable populations. We are absolutely willing to ensure that our elderly and immune compromised clients are able to meet under conditions that minimize any risk of exposure. Please contact us (913.317.8999) and we can discuss the best way to achieve your goals while protecting your safety.

4. Online or remote access. We are excited to offer consultations and meetings via Zoom. This is a great way to communicate via video. We will provide you with a link for a specific time to talk and you can then click on the link and we can have our meeting via video. We are also able to do teleconferences if your access to a computer is limited or if you just prefer the telephone!

Please do not hesitate to reach out to Amy Vinton ([email protected]) for all of your estate planning needs (wills, trusts, guardianships, conservatorships, probate estates, and adoptions) and Valerie Moore ([email protected]) for all of your family law needs (divorce, parentage actions, child custody, child support, adoptions, child support, LGBTQ planning, and mediations). Even during this time of shutdowns and slowdowns, there are many things that we can do to protect your family and ensure that life after this pandemic is smooth.

Because of the current climate and the rapid level that changes occur, we do encourage email versus phone calls as we can both handle those remotely (we can then schedule a time to talk or Zoom!).

We are also not (at this time) going to accept “walk-ins.” Please call the office (913.317.8999) or email Amy or Valerie ([email protected] or [email protected]) to schedule a time to drop off documents or meet in person.

We look forward to continuing to serve your family during this crisis.
