We are excited to be a part of this event.

The Tennessee Innocence Project is proud to count Lowery, Lowery & Cherry as an official sponsor for our 2022 annual fundraiser: Inspired by Innocence. With support from Lowery, Lowery & Cherry, the Tennessee Innocence Project makes a difference in our state.

Inspired by Innocence: Stories & Songwriting - held on October 27, 2022, at the Nashville Music City Center - will feature stories and songwriting on our most recent exonerations. Our exonerees will partner with professional singer-songwriters to use music as a means of storytelling, healing, and connection.

We hope to see you there! Click this link for more details: https://www.tninnocence.org/inspired-by-innocence

The Tennessee Supreme Court issued an Order today extending the March 25, 2020, Order which suspended all in person court appearances for out of custody defendants. However, the new Order allows each Judicial District to create a plan that will help to ensure the safety of all those involved in having to attend court. Our Judges for the 15th Judicial District will submit a plan to the Tennessee Supreme Court and once that plan is approved, we will begin to hear criminal court cases for out of custody clients once again. Hopefully we will be back in court by the second or third week of May!
