I am looking for a part time contract paralegal to help draft estate planning documents for clients. This will be entirely remote and will be primarily document drafting. I practice almost exclusively in estate planning and will need help in preparing Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, etc. I will consult with the clients and pass along detailed notes and questionnaires on what the clients need for the paralegal to prepare custom estate planning that I will then review before delivering them to the client for ex*****on.

3-5 years of experience in estate planning is preferred. Familiarity or experience with WestLaw's Form Builder (specifically Lipman's Estate Planning) is a plus. This will be a mix of clients - some with very simple plans, and others with more complex situations with Living Trusts to protect various special needs and concerns.

This is a good opportunity for anyone looking to make some extra side income, a professional who currently stays at home, or just someone interested in estate planning. I am a small solo firm, but currently experiencing a very large workload so this may have good potential to turn into a more permanent position as the firm grows.

Please call me at 512-528-5355, or through my website:

About Evan Harlow

Evan S. Harlow grew up in the Austin area and graduated from Pflugerville High School. He kept his Texas roots as he studied higher learning. He earned his Bachelor of Public Administration at Texas State University-San Marcos, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He obtained his Master of Public Service and Administration at Texas A&M University, also graduating Magna Cum Laude. Finally, he received his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center.

Mr. Harlow's work in the law started prior to attending law school. He served for six and a half years as a paralegal in the United States Army. The bulk of his work there was criminal prosecution under the military justice system. However, he gained much experience helping his fellow soldiers with estate planning, family law matters, and veterans’ benefits.

He served one tour in Iraq where he assisted the State Department Provincial Reconstruction Team in its efforts to strengthen the local Iraqi judges, police, and anti-terror forces. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, and multiple service medals.

While at the University of Houston Law Center he interned with one of the most prestigious criminal defense firms in Houston and worked in the Civil and Consumer Law Clinics over the course of three semesters. His work in the Clinics included helping indigent clients navigate the legal system and representing children who often don’t have a voice in family legal disputes.
