On July 17, the Fifth Circuit adopted my dissenting opinion in Hernandez v. State, 614 S.W.3d 760 (Tex. Crim. App. 2019) and quoted me at length for the proper interpretation and application of Texas Penal Code Section 37.10(a)(1) for a charge of tampering with a government record. That was very gratifying! Thank you to Justice Bill Pedersen for making me aware of this.
