Hey friends!!!

Gimme your thoughts on severe abuse based on educational neglect.

Child is 7, may or may not test positive for m**h, but has never attended a day of school in her whole life.

School caught on. Filed truancy. Mom provided fabricated documentation from local home school umbrella, but upon very casual investigation, school and DCS learned mother had never enrolled her.

Dad had supervised visitation only.

If the child is positive, I clearly have severe abuse as to mom for drug exposure.

But if there is educational neglect, I think dad is culpable too, unless I have a court order prohibiting him from making education decisions (maybe), though I am inclined to think he should have been asking enough questions to know whether she was in school.

So the question is, can a child be severely abuse by educational neglect? And if so, what expert do I need to testify?
