Insurance companies keep lists. They track which attorneys fight and which ones fold.
“When the insurance company knows that a firm can’t handle litigation or won’t litigate, they often lowball because they know they’re going to get it resolved for less.”
We are not on that list.

Let's be honest about something most people don't realize until it's too late.

The insurance adjuster who calls you after your accident? They are not there to help you.

They are there to protect the insurance company's bottom line.

That friendly voice on the phone. The quick settlement offer. The request for a recorded statement "just to process your claim." It's all part of a process designed to pay you as little as possible and close your case as fast as possible.

Here's what they know that you don't:

You don't yet know the full extent of your injuries. Medical complications show up weeks or even months after a crash. Once you accept a settlement and sign that release, it's over. You cannot go back.

They have teams of adjusters, lawyers, and medical experts whose entire job is to minimize your payout. You deserve someone in your corner whose entire job is the opposite.

The first offer is almost never the right offer.

At Gina Corena & Associates, we know every tactic in their playbook because we've spent years fighting back against it. We don't settle for less than what our clients actually deserve, and we don't back down when insurers push back.

You were hurt through no fault of your own. You deserve full compensation, not whatever number they decided was convenient.

Call us before you sign anything.

Some law firms settle fast and move on.

That's not us.

At Gina Corena & Associates, we measure our work by what actually changes for the people we represent. Medical bills covered. Lost wages recovered. Families who can breathe again because someone finally fought for them the way they deserved.

Las Vegas is our community. These are our people. And we show up for them every single day without exception.

The insurance company found an old injury in your medical records.

Now they're using it to lowball your claim.

This is one of the most common tactics adjusters use after a Las Vegas car accident. And most people don't know they have a powerful legal protection against it.

Nevada's eggshell plaintiff rule says this: if the crash made your existing condition worse, the at-fault driver is still responsible. All of it.

They don't get a discount because you had a prior back injury. They don't get to walk away because you had surgery years ago. They took you as you were, and they are responsible for what they did to you.

Here's what they won't tell you:

They can't demand your entire medical history. Nevada law limits what records they're entitled to.

An old medical record is not proof your current pain came from before the crash. They still have to prove that.

Their "independent" medical exam is designed to help them, not you.

Don't sign anything. Don't give a recorded statement. Don't let them convince you your case is weak before you've talked to an attorney.

We've seen this playbook before. We know how to fight it.

You drop your child off at daycare. You trust that someone is watching them. You believe it is the safest place they can be.
When that trust is broken, the harm is permanent.
Julia took a childcare negligence case that other firms would have called too difficult. She fought through every obstacle. She built the proof. She secured $2 million for the family.
“Hard cases are not bad cases. They require diligence.”
If your child was injured at a daycare, a school, or a place that promised to keep them safe, we will fight for them.

Every year, thousands of motorcycle and bicycle riders suffer traumatic brain injuries in accidents that could have been far less devastating with the right gear.

Wear it. Every ride. No exceptions.

But here's what most people don't know: even with a helmet, serious injuries happen. And when they do because of someone else's negligence, you deserve full compensation for everything you've lost — medical bills, lost wages, pain, and suffering.

If you or someone you love has been seriously injured in a motorcycle or bicycle accident in Nevada, don't let the insurance company tell you what your case is worth.

We will.

One of the hardest calls we receive is from someone who already settled their car accident claim, and now they're facing injuries or expenses they never saw coming.

The honest answer? Most Nevada settlements are final once a release is signed.

But that doesn't mean every option is off the table.

Depending on your situation, there may still be avenues worth exploring:

Uninsured motorist coverage under your own policy may still apply, even after settling with the at-fault driver.

Bad faith claims against an insurer who mishandled your case or failed to act in good faith are recognized under Nevada law.

A separate liable party who wasn't included in your original release could still be pursued.

Nevada law also provides a narrow window under NRS 10.185 where a release signed without an attorney, within 30 days of the accident, may be voidable within 60 days of signing.

Every situation is different. The worst thing you can do is assume it's over without talking to someone first.

If you settled and something doesn't feel right, call us. Free consultation. No fee unless we win. (702) 680-1111.

Then Jenna took a deposition. The company admitted they deleted videos. They deleted emails.
She filed a motion for spoliation. The court ruled in our favor.
“A case that I had no settlement offers at all... we were able to resolve after filing that motion.”
This is litigation. This is Gina Corena Law.

If your injury case has been sitting still for months, you're not alone. And it doesn't mean your claim is dead.

Most delays come down to procedure, not merit.

Insurance companies drag their feet. Medical records take time. Informal negotiations have no real deadlines, so nothing forces the other side to move.

Here's what a lot of people don't realize: taking legal action doesn't automatically mean going to court. Sometimes it just means introducing structure. Formal demands. Enforceable timelines. A process that requires the insurance company to actually respond.

That shift alone can change everything.

What does matter is the clock.

Nevada's statute of limitations gives most injury victims two years from the date of the accident to file a lawsuit. That deadline doesn't pause because your claim is "under review." It doesn't stop because the adjuster stopped returning calls. A delay that feels manageable today can become a permanent barrier if it goes on too long.

If your case has stalled and you're not sure why, that's exactly when a second set of eyes helps.

Call Gina Corena & Associates for a free case review. No pressure. Just clarity on where your case stands and what your options are. (702) 680-1111.
