Scams are getting harder to spot, but a few key warning signs can help you protect yourself and your information. Our team put together a simple breakdown to help you stay aware:
🔵 A sense of urgency
Scammers often pressure you to act fast, claiming something bad will happen if you don’t.
🔵 Impersonation of trusted sources
They may pose as government agencies, financial institutions, or well‑known companies to appear legitimate.
🔵 Offers that seem too good to be true
Free money, surprise prizes, or unusually large discounts are common red flags.
🔵 Poorly constructed communication
Watch for spelling errors, odd email domains, broken links, or job sites labeled “Coming Soon” or “Under Construction.”
If something feels off, pause and verify the source. Contact the organization directly through its official website, or if you know the sender, reach out to them independently.
