Every home has a story, and this one touched my heart.

More than 30 years ago, a wonderful couple built this home and filled it with a lifetime of memories. After the loss of her husband, she continued to live there independently until a family visit to California turned into an unexpected life change following the passing of her daughter. At 91 years young, she never returned to live in the home again.

My role became much more than selling a house. It was helping her through a transition. From coordinating the estate sale to preparing the home for its next chapter, my goal was to make the process as easy as possible so she could focus on being surrounded by family, friends, and the support she deserves.

The best part? The buyer saw exactly what I saw. Not old wallpaper or dated finishes, but a home that had been deeply loved and beautifully cared for. A true time capsule filled with warmth and memories.

One familyโ€™s chapter has closed, another is just beginning, and along the way I gained a new friend. Moments like these remind me why I love what I do.
