Our Partner, Chet Glover, is proud to announce that the Supreme Court of Nevada just affirmed summary judgment in favor of our client in Case No. 75251. The Court agreed with the district court's ruling that the HOA foreclosure violated the automatic bankruptcy stay, the HOA foreclosure was void, and therefore our client's lien on the property survived the sale!

Mr. Glover is experienced in the areas of civil litigation, banking and mortgage law, lender liability, real estate, contracts, personal injury defense and commercial law, and has both jury and bench trial experience in addition to successfully resolving many matters through settlement negotiations and mediation. Mr. Glover is a current member of the State Bar of Nevada Advertising Committee.

Mr. Glover is a roller coaster enthusiast and enjoys going to amusement parks with his family. He enjoys watching professional soccer, swimming, and playing sports with his family.

Mr. Larsen’s practice is focused on complex business and commercial litigation, as well as banking and construction law. He is a member of the panel of arbitrators for the Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County, Nevada, and is frequently selected as a private arbitrator. Mr. Larsen has also been an instructor for the American Institute of Banking. Over the past thirty years, Mr. Larsen has become very well respected in his practice of law and he is rated AV Preeminent by his peers, the highest rating available in the Martindale-Hubbell directory of legal counsel.

Mr. Wixom’s practice specializes in Asset Based Lending, Banking & Finance and Commercial Real Estate Transactions. His experience is extensive, and over the past two years alone, he has handled transactions with a value in excess of well over 1 Billion Dollars. Mr. Wixom has extensive experience in litigation as well, especially in the areas of banking and commercial law.

In addition to his banking, corporate and commercial law practice, Mr. Wixom recently ended his service as a member of the Board of Regents for the Nevada System of Higher Education, after 11 years, where he served as both the chairman and vice chairman. His responsibilities included overseeing all of Nevada’s public higher education, including 5 community colleges, 2 universities, and a research institute. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Springs Preserve.

He has been selected as one of the 2015 Mountain States Super Lawyers. He was also named by Nevada Business Magazine as one of the Legal Elite 2015: Nevada’s Top Attorneys.
