PILA would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for attending PILA’s 26th Silver State Auction last month. We were able to raise over $35,000 for student scholarships!

To every community member and business who donated, your generosity is much appreciated as it was instrumental to our success. To our award recipients, we thank you all for your tireless dedication to uplifting Nevadans. To our student volunteers, we’re grateful for your help in ensuring that this event ran as smoothly as possible. It takes a village!

Just text PILA2025 to 76278 and you’ll be directed to the GiveSmart website, where you can buy a ticket to the upcoming Auction or make a monetary donation if you cannot attend. Either way, please spread the word about this event, and if you’re attending, be sure to dress in something that embodies the glitz and glam of the fabulous Las Vegas! ♦️

Last year’s Silver State Auction was a complete success! We honored public interest heroes in our community, and we were able to raise $50k in grants for law students to pursue public interest law opportunities over the summer. As we prepare for yet another wonderful auction, PILA would like to thank everyone who attended, participated in our program, bought an auction item, and helped this event go smoothly. We would also like to give a huge shoutout to last year’s PILA Executive Board for all their hard work, as well as our dedicated student volunteers. We hope you enjoyed last year’s auction, and be sure to attend again!

William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV Public Interest Law Association (PILA) is excited to announce that the 25th Silver State Auction will take place on Thursday, February 29th, 2024, from 6-9pm at the Thomas & Mack Strip View Pavilion. We will be sending out the registration link in the following months. All funds will go directly to student public interest scholarships.
