In loving memory of Dennis M. Prince, a dedicated father, son, husband, and grandfather, and a legend in the legal community, whose larger-than-life reputation precedes him. With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to a remarkable individual whose passion for life, unwavering commitment to excellence, and fierce dedication to justice enriched the lives of everyone he encountered.
Dennis passed away at the age of 57, leaving behind a legacy both personally and professionally. He was immensely proud to be born and raised in Las Vegas, where he graduated from Bonanza High School and obtained a degree in finance from UNLV. After completing law school at California Western, he returned to Las Vegas to raise his family and start his legal career.
Above all else, he was a devoted father to his four children and two step-children, a proud son to his parents, a loving husband, and an adoring grandfather. Dennis treasured every moment with his family and often remarked that his happiest moments were being surrounded by them. Whether it be going to the beach, cheering for his children from the sidelines at their baseball games and equestrian competitions, golf trips with his dad, or just simply enjoying baked goods made by his loving mother, he was so proud of the beautiful family he created.
In addition to his family were his close circle of friends, whom he treated like siblings. He was the person you could reach out to for anything, knowing that he would offer his support and best advice. He provided a source of trust and companionship throughout his life's journey. He was the life of the party, always the best dressed, had an infectious personality, enjoyed the finer things in life, and was kind, generous, and compassionate to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Simply put, Dennis's presence entirely filled every room he walked into. His spirit will live on in the countless lives he touched and the memories he created.
With over three decades of dedicated service to the legal profession, he earned a reputation as a formidable zealous advocate. Dennis was a leading personal injury and insurance bad faith attorney, not only in Nevada, but throughout the country. He won countless trials, appeals, and arbitrations, some of which created binding case law in Nevada and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. His success was due to his quick wit, sharp intellect, and unwavering dedication to his clients. His passion and energy were truly inspiring and his presence in the courtroom was unmatched. Dennis was deeply proud of his law firm, the Prince Law Group. He often referred to the attorneys and staff as the "best team he's had in 30 years." He also took immense pride in working alongside his son Scot at the Prince Law Group. Dennis was also a loyal supporter and member of the State Bar of Nevada, the Nevada Justice Association, and American Board of Trial Advocates, among many others. Additionally, he was dedicated to the empowerment and advancement of women attorneys in the legal community. He offered his highly sought-after mentorship to countless attorneys and strived to bring humanity and humility to the practice of law, always putting his clients first. His passing is a profound loss for his family, friends, staff, clients, and the local and national legal community. His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his memory will be honored for years to come.
Rest in peace, Dennis. Although cut far too short, he lived an extraordinary life of a true legend whose impact will be felt for generations to come. Dennis is survived by his parents Robert and Beverly McMaster, his son Scot Prince, his daughter Taylor Prince See, his son-in-law Malcolm See, his son Parker Prince, his daughter Palmer Prince, and his grandson Turner Prince See. His legacy of kindness, generosity, and passion will continue to inspire us all, reminding us to live each day with purpose. Dennis will be deeply missed, but his light will shine on forever in our hearts.
Services for Dennis will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 5:00 pm at Palm Mortuary in Downtown Las Vegas (1325 North Main St., Las Vegas, NV, 89101). To honor Dennis's philanthropic legacy, in lieu flowers, contributions can be made to The Shade Tree and the Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys.
