Deadline to File Your Personal Injury Case with the Court

In Nevada there are deadlines by which a personal injury case must be filed, or the injured party runs the large risk of never being able to file a court action and potentially be reimbursed for losses. The term is called the "statute of limitations." Most personal injury cases must be filed within two years of the date of the accident (and not when injuries are first felt by the victim). NRS 11.190(4).

Fees contingent on outcome. Client responsible for costs, including advanced litigation expenses and court costs. You may have to pay the opposing parties' attorney fees and costs in the event of a loss.

Under Nevada law, there are rules that designate where your personal injury case is to be filed. Under NRS ("Nevada Revised Statutes") 13.040, the venue or place of trial for a case for personal injury cases is most likely tried in the county in which a defendant resides.
