Albany County homeowners, this is worth checking out!

Applications for the 2027 property tax exemptions are now open, and even if you've qualified previously, you must apply again each year.

A few important things to know: The 25% and 50% exemptions apply to qualifying property values, not directly to your total tax bill. For long-term homeowners, the 25 years of Wyoming property tax payments do not have to be consecutive, and either the owner or their spouse may meet the age and tax history requirements.

You cannot claim both exemptions on the same property, but other property tax relief programmes may also be available.
