McCoy Law, PC is still working for you remotely. Sheila is the main attorney who is in charge of maintaining the infrastructure of the law firm while the majority of work of the office is being conducted remotely.

All of our clients and cases are extremely important to us, so to protect everyone from any coronavirus contact, only those cases that are of an emergency basis will be handled in person. We are committed to sustaining the social distancing as required by the Federal and State government, as well.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer has issued Orders for a "stay at home" policy that "prohibits operation of a business or requiring workers to leave their homes, unless necessary “to sustain or protect life or to conduct minimum basic operations.”"

As the sole attorney for McCoy Law, PC, I am designated to act as the person to conduct basic operations so as to continue business for our clients.

The courts of Michigan are only open to emergency or essential functions so if you have a hearing scheduled it will most likely be adjourned.

Good afternoon, my friends, family and wonderful clients.

I do not often get time to post on this page. Since I am one of those of a certain age who are to stay inside, I am writing to send my thoughts and prayers to all who are stricken, suffering and hurting at this time.

While we do live in troubled times, there is always hope. My faith and trust is in God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

Please note that during the time of self-quarantine and distancing we continue to work with you and for you.

There may be additional delays due to the closing of the courts on all cases, except for those matters that are emergencies, such as Personal Protection Orders, juvenile matters, or criminal case, we will get through this and get your case completed. Please be patient with this process, as we must also be patient with government processes.
