Jaime Jackson Law and the law firm of Wolff Ardis successfully teamed up to settle an auto products liability case. Our client was killed when the vehicle in which he was a passenger caught fire following a rear impact.

Our client was the front seat passenger in a car stopped at a red light when another vehicle struck the rear of the vehicle in which our client was traveling. The front end of the striking vehicle submarined under the rear of our client’s vehicle which caused the rear structure to be pushed towards the fuel tank.

Our client’s vehicle was pushed forward and exploded into a fireball. Tragically, our client, a young father of two, died from carbon monoxide poisoning and thermal injuries.

The Jaime Jackson Law and Wolff Ardis teams were able to resolve this case at mediation, ensuring our client’s wife and young family’s can move onto the next chapter of their lives with security and closure.

Jaime Jackson Law recently teamed up with attorneys Ryan Fisher and Kyle Melling of Lowe Trial Lawyers to obtain a successful result on behalf of our paralyzed client. Our client’s vehicle was struck from behind by another vehicle that was not equipped with collision mitigation safety technology.

The case settled shortly before trial against a vehicle manufacturer for choosing not to equip one of its vehicles with a collision mitigation system, including forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking. This manufacturer chose to include these safety technologies on some of its vehicles, but not the one involved in this case, that rear-ended our client causing her paralyzing injuries.

Jaime Jackson Law recently helped settle a lawsuit with the law firm of Langdon & Emison following a passenger van crash in Jamaica. A group of women had traveled to Jamaica for a weekend birthday celebration. Sadly, celebration turned to tragedy following a passenger van crash when the driver of a van transporting the group lost control and collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle. One passenger was killed, one passenger was paralyzed, and three passengers were severely injured.
