We are thankful to all of those who came to the community event on the future of education and careers in education. We heard from educators from the public and private school as well as homeschooling sectors. Then the second panel was about how to prepare for career paths in this new era with AI. Instead of doom and gloom, the feedback we heard was the audience felt encouraged and hopeful about the future!

We hope we can do more events like this in the future. We are so thankful for the Child and Family Center for providing the space and co-sponsors Santa Clarita Valley Signal and Mellady Direct.

Also, a big thanks to all of our panelists - Erin Wilson from the Hart School District, Dr. Leticia Hernandez from the Newhall School District, Liz Caddow from Trinity Classical Academy , Elizabeth Wong Ahlers from the homeschooling perspective, Harriett Happel from College of the Canyons , James Fry from the trades perspective, Chris Llanos from The Signal and Abigail Lee from a new grad/job seeker perspective.
