PorchLight, A Family Justice Center PorchLight is a Family Justice Center. The center is centrally located in Jefferson County, Colorado. At PorchLight, you are not alone.

One location where survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, human trafficking, and other forms of abuse can access a wide array of supportive services all for free, and without appointment. We are open from 8:30AM - 4:30PM Monday - Friday

Lifting Victims' Voices in Jefferson and Gilpin Counties​

PorchLight Family Justice Center (FJC) provides comprehensive legal, emotional and

critical supportive services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, abuse of at-risk individuals, elder abuse, and human trafficking. The FJC is a safe, caring environment that provides one-stop services and support. Key local government agencies, law enforcement, community, social and legal service providers, and District Attorney's Offices are located on-site at the FJC to make it easier for victims and survivors to get help. We strive to offer our community a kind-hearted, victim-centered home where victims, survivors, and their children come first as they work through the healing process. Our mission is to bring together essential services for victims, survivors and their children to create a positive pathway forward, and to foster public safety. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we are so grateful for our partners, both on-site and off, who we can connect our guests with when they need that support the most. Mental health care is an integral component of the Family Justice Center model, and here at PorchLight, we have some of the best. Thank you Zero Tolerance for Domestic Abuse and Jefferson Center for Mental Health for the critical work you do supporting survivors and their families on their path to hope and healing!

From set-up to teardown, and all the miles in-between, this weekend was a winner! PorchLight was proud to represent survivors at the 2026 Denver's Colfax Marathon with 33 runners who spanned the course of two days. We were so glad to have a presence at such a massively attended event, and we wouldn't have been able to do so without the runners who chose to run for PorchLight. What an amazing accomplishment to all of you- and we look forward to seeing you in 2027! 🏅🎖️

Have we told you how proud we are of you? 🏅
Did you know that less than 1% of the US has completed a marathon? That only 1-2% of people will ever complete a half marathon? Just 2.6 million people will complete a 5k, so we wanted you to know- whether you are running, jogging, walking, or wheeling, you are amazing to us, and accomplishing something very few will.
Thank you to the supporters who chose to run for PorchLight. By simply selecting us as your nonprofit, you are allowing us to have a presence in front of 29,000 runners (not including spectators!), so that people can know about the services we provide to survivors in our community. You have chosen to Be the Light for your neighbors and friends who may not be able to speak up yet. And for that, we are also so proud of you and grateful for your help.
You got this, friends, and we will be there- cheering you on from start to finish. And keep an eye on our socials- we will be posting pics all weekend!🏁
