🎤✨ Two weeks ago, I channeled my inner Tina Turner at the 22nd Annual PlayBingo event — big hair, sparkles, and plenty of “Proud Mary” energy to go around! 💃

Next Door Realty was thrilled to sponsor a table at this Rock ’n’ Roll-themed fundraiser hosted by the Friends of Christopher Guild, benefiting the Center for Child Protection. This incredible event raised $1.4 MILLION to support protecting Austin children — such an amazing success! 💛

I got to host some wonderful past clients & friends, and our table was rocking with appearances by Tina Turner, Prince, and Elvis (of course 😉). The energy in the room was electric, the costumes were spot-on, and the generosity of everyone there was truly inspiring.

And even though it was a daytime event, my Amazon wig was still holding on for dear life through all the excitement! 😂

To top it all off, our guest Marsha even won a spa day at Bingo! 🥳🧖‍♀️

✨ Chapter 38 ✨

I can’t even put into words how thankful I am for the love that poured into my life this past week. Celebrating my 38th birthday has been so deeply special—not just because of the thoughtful gifts (which I truly loved and appreciated!), but because of the overwhelming kindness, encouragement, and love from my friends and family. That’s what really filled my heart in a way I’ll never forget.

My husband went above and beyond to make my birthday feel so special, and I even got to be on the lake twice in one week. If I could, I’d be on the water every single day—it’s my happy place. Peaceful, fun, and carefree… exactly how I want life to feel.

In life, my biggest goal has never been about career titles or accolades—it’s about leaving every community I’m part of just a little better than when I first arrived. I want to positively impact the people around me, and this birthday made me feel like maybe I am living out that hope. The love I felt this past week was a beautiful reminder of that.

From Houston to Austin, and even calls from my family in Seattle, every message, call, and visit made me feel surrounded by such an amazing community. I’m so grateful to have friends and family who show up with love, laughter, and presence—that’s the greatest gift of all.

So thank you—to those who reached out, celebrated with me, or just shared good conversations and joy. You made Chapter 38 start off brighter than I could have imagined. My heart is so full. ♥️

This past weekend was one for the books ✨— a full-on marathon of laughter, love, and late nights that filled my cup in the best way possible.
Friday night kicked things off with couples game night at the Johnson’s house — and let me tell you, it was lit. 🔥 The R&B/Rap playlist was perfection, the vibes were immaculate, and we laughed until our cheeks hurt. We played the “head, shoulders, cup” game (where I proceeded to lose every. single. round.) and then I went head-to-head in Connect 4 with Brittni — spoiler alert: she’s basically the Connect 4 world champ. 🏆
Saturday night was all about celebrating Ashley’s birthday with dinner at ATX Cocina downtown — so delicious — and then somehow we ended up at the Beetlejuice speakeasy. Let’s just say… we had a time. 🪲🍸
Sunday night wrapped things up perfectly with an intimate, cozy celebration for my sweet friend Reema’s 50th birthday at the new spot, The Kimberly. Incredible food, even better company, and the perfect way to end a whirlwind weekend.
When I moved from Houston three years ago, I never could have imagined the community I’d find here. I’m beyond grateful for the friendships I’ve built, the new connections I’m excited to grow, and the love & light that surrounds me.
In life, community is everything. Play and joy are essential. And weekends like this remind me just how lucky I am to have both in abundance. 💛
