One of my more recent success stories almost started as a fluke.
I was shopping for a new storm door with an existing (repeat) client; there were a couple of remarkably nice gals in the same vicinity who seemed to need a little help. I answered a couple of simple questions and then got asked if I do installations. “Sure thing” said I, and we quickly exchanged numbers.
Come to find out these gals were very enthusiastic ex-Cali refugees – real excited to be up here in God’s country (the beautiful Pacific NW). They custom ordered their new storm doors before calling me for an installation appointment.
Long story short: Their first door went in without a hitch & aaabsolutely perfectly. It didn’t take long however, to realize that their second door was both too tall “&” too narrow to fit their remarkably unusual front portal. Ms. Terri caught me scratch’n my head (trying to figure out jesssss ezzakly how to make this work). Given that they were prepping for a Montana road trip, she wisely suggested we step back and ponder our options.
Two weeks flew by as I reviewed my alternatives. We got together on the 12th; the job took the better part of a full day, some rather precise cuts, one can of the proper color accent paint, & voila, …”Perfection!!!”
Thankfully NorthWest Handy does not charge by the hour. I only do one job at a time and make a point of taking alllll the time I need to do the job right. I’d rather be thorough than quick any day and we all know that repeat customers oftentimes become very dear friends, eh?
