Some cases stay with you forever — and Jose Efrain’s is one of them.

Jose was detained in Florida and then transferred all the way to Arizona, far from his loved ones and support system. He had been in custody since October, waiting, hoping, and trusting that justice would prevail.

When his removal proceedings were officially terminated, we believed he would finally be reunited with his family. But despite the case being dismissed, the government did not want to release him.

That’s when our team immediately began preparing a habeas corpus petition. We refused to allow Jose to remain detained unlawfully for even one more day than necessary.

And today — he is FREE.

This outcome is a testament to persistence, advocacy, and faith. We are especially grateful to Attorney Mark Diaz for the countless sleepless nights he dedicated to this case. Your determination and commitment made all the difference.

Jose, thank you for trusting us during one of the most difficult chapters of your life. Your strength inspires us. Moments like this remind us why we fight so hard for every single client.

Freedom matters. Family matters. And we will never stop standing up for what is right. 💙

Today we share a story that deeply moved our hearts.

Our former client, Juan Diaz Jimenez, was unjustly detained while riding as a passenger in a vehicle. Even after presenting his valid legal documentation, he was taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

For three long months, he remained detained while we fought tirelessly for his freedom through a habeas corpus petition. It was a difficult and emotional journey — for Juan, for his family, and for all of us who stood beside him.

Today, we are grateful to share that Juan has been released.

This victory is a reminder that justice is worth fighting for, even when the road feels long and uncertain. We are incredibly proud of the resilience Juan showed during this painful time.

A very special thank you to our dedicated paralegal, Yudi, and to our counsel, Abril Abad, whose commitment, compassion, and hard work made this outcome possible. Your advocacy truly changed a life.

To Juan and his family — thank you for your trust. We stand with you, always. ❤️

Justice matters. Due process matters. People matter.

Today we celebrate the freedom of our client, Dionicio Mateo Simon, and a well-deserved victory for his family.

Dionicio was initially detained at Alcatraz in Florida and later transferred to Mississippi, where he remained in custody for four months. After fighting his case, we filed a Motion to Terminate based on the fact that his matter was pending with USCIS and that motion was granted. As a result, Dionicio was released and is now reunited with his loved ones.

This case is a powerful reminder that when a case is properly analyzed and strategically presented, justice can prevail even after a transfer and months in detention.

A heartfelt thank you to our attorney, Abril Abad, for her strong advocacy, and to our wonderful paralegal, Neysis, for her dedication and hard work throughout this case.

Today, we celebrate Dionicio’s release and the reunion of his family — exactly why we do what we do.

Today we celebrate a very special and deeply meaningful victory for our clients, Moises Gomez Mendez and his wife, Catarina.

Moises was placed in removal proceedings after being detained at Alcatraz and later transferred to California, where he remained in custody for more than six months. After his case was denied, we immediately filed an appeal with the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). With his appeal pending and after surpassing 180 days in detention, we successfully secured his release on a granted Rodriguez bond.

During this incredibly difficult time, his wife Catarina was also picked up and detained. Her release came two months after her detention — but our fight did not stop there. We continued pushing forward until we secured Moises’ release as well, so this family could finally be reunited.

Catarina has been a client of our office for 15 years, and this case was deeply personal to us. Standing by families through some of the hardest moments of their lives is at the heart of what we do.

This victory is about perseverance, unity, and never giving up — especially when a family’s future is on the line. Today, we celebrate their freedom and their strength.

We celebrate a long-awaited and hard-fought victory for our client, Angel Raul Figueroa Galeano.

Angel had a removal order dating back to 2001, but he was only recently detained in September 2025. He remained in custody for five months, during which he was held at Alcatraz, transferred to Krome, then to Texas. After we filed a writ of habeas corpus, he was transferred back to Florida — and ultimately released.

Angel is not just a client; he has been part of our extended legal family for years. A couple of years ago, our office had the privilege of winning asylum for his wife. It was truly an honor to stand by him again and take on this challenging detention case to fight for his freedom.

Cases like this remind us that no matter how old the order or how complex the history, there is always value in fighting for due process and justice.

A special and heartfelt thank you to our attorneys, Abril Abad and Mark Diaz, for their exceptional advocacy, and to our Senior Paralegal, Yanet, for her tireless dedication and hard work throughout this case.

Today, we celebrate Angel’s release and the perseverance that made it possible.

Today we celebrate another important victory — and most importantly, the freedom of our client, Alfredo Ramírez Francisco.

Alfredo was detained for three months in Aurora, Colorado, facing uncertainty and separation from his loved ones. After filing a writ of habeas corpus, we successfully secured his release.

Special warm thank you to our exceptional paralegal Yudianis Ordoñez

This outcome once again highlights the power of standing firm, using every legal tool available, and fighting for the rights and due process that every person deserves. Each case is about more than just the law — it is about protecting dignity and restoring families.

We are truly grateful for the trust Alfredo placed in our team. Today, we celebrate his freedom and this well-earned victory.

Today we celebrate justice and perseverance.

Our client, Brigido, was detained in El Paso, Texas for nearly six months, separated from his family and forced to endure an incredibly difficult time. After filing a writ of habeas corpus, we are proud to share that he has been released.

Brigido was one of the last individuals to have his habeas petition granted before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit issued its new policy. His case is a powerful reminder that the law still provides avenues to fight unlawful or prolonged detention — and that persistence matters.

This victory is not just about one case. It is about standing up for due process, for fairness, and for the fundamental rights guaranteed under our Constitution.

We are grateful for the trust Brigido placed in us during such a challenging chapter of his life. Today, he is reunited with his loved ones — and that is what this work is all about.

A heartfelt and sincere thank you to our incredible paralegal, Yudi, for working tirelessly and with unwavering dedication on this case—your commitment and perseverance made all the difference.
