Jill Brittle and the other board members at Michelle's Love are excited to share that Michelle's Love has been selected to be part of The Oregonian's Season of Sharing, a campaign to support local nonprofits by raising awareness and a call for donations. Read the article below to learn about one of the single parents currently being supported by this great organization. When considering your options for donating this year, please include Michelle's Love and give generously.

The nonprofit's mission is to relieve the financial and emotional stress for single parents undergoing cancer treatment, so they can focus on getting well.

We are very proud and excited to announce that Jill Brittle has joined the board of Michelle’s Love, a local non-profit organization supporting single parents in our community who are undergoing treatment for cancer. The support provided includes financial relief, house cleaning, and meals, so that parents have more time to heal and to focus on their children. As a family law firm, we regularly see the challenges that parents go through when solo parenting, even without a serious illness. Michelle’s Love’s mission is aligned with our goal of supporting local families, and we hope to help spread the word about their work.

The support provided by Michelle’s Love includes financial relief, house cleaning, and meals, so that parents have more time to heal and to focus on their children. October is one of the organization’s key fundraising month. There are multiple ways to help, but your first opportunity is to give at least a $10 donation on October 10th ($10 on 10th), to help us meet the goal of raising $80,000. Your second opportunity will be on October 23rd, which is “Match Monday,” where donations will be matched up to $10,000. You can visit the organization website for more donation opportunities as well.
