During Mental Health Awareness Month, conversations around trauma matter—not just in healthcare or personal healing, but in the legal system, too.
When someone has experienced a serious accident, abuse, trafficking, or another traumatic event, that trauma can affect how they communicate, process information, recall events, and navigate what can already feel like an overwhelming legal process.
That’s why trauma-informed litigation is such an important conversation.
We’re proud to share that Snedaker Law’s very own Shannon Snedaker, former President of Seminole County FAWL will be leading an upcoming virtual CLE for attorneys on Trauma-Informed Practice—focused on helping legal professionals better understand how trauma impacts clients and how a more compassionate, informed approach can strengthen advocacy while reducing the risk of re-traumatization.
This is a continuing legal education course designed for attorneys, but the message extends far beyond the legal profession: people navigating trauma deserve to be met with understanding, dignity, and care.
At Snedaker Law, this isn’t just a topic we talk about, it’s a philosophy that shapes how we advocate for clients every day.
