I am presenting at a workshop entitled, “I’ve died, now what does my family do?”

It is part of Senior Citizen’s, Inc (SCI) “Now What” series. The first working title was, “I’ve died, now what…” which just makes me chuckle. So many different directions and jokes we could take with that! When we talk about death and dying, we take it seriously around here…but also we’ve got to keep it light and humorous when we can or else it is too heavy.

Come and join me on May 06 at 11am. I’ll be in the Senior Center. I’ll bring cookies. 🍪😬

Come visit with me and learn all about the legal things as well as the practical things that need to happen when you pass away. I’ll have a handout to help you get organized.

“I’ve died, now what does my family do?” I was invited to present, and I am inviting you to join me! May 6th, 2026 (this coming Wednesday) at the Senior Center in Lake Isabella. It starts at 11am and the address is 6405 Lake Isabella Blvd.

Come find out how to handle things after someone passes…and what your family can expect to have happen. We will cover everything we can! There will be handouts 📝 to take home to help you get started organizing your things so your loved ones aren’t left in the dark.

Unrelated but also important: I am a big fan of cookies, so expect a little treat to eat while we talk about the hard things. 🍪

Day 5 of a girls’ trip getaway for my cousin’s 50th birthday. I am loving the rural parts of O’ahu and while I was hoping to come back tan, I’ve adjusted my expectations and now am collecting an assortment of emergency rain ponchos. At least it’s a warm rain!

Listened to Capt. Freeborn present at the Kernville Chamber meeting. He discussed the upcoming fire season, especially defensive space and the importance of fire detectors. For more information, go to https://kerncountyfire.org
