🚨BREAKING: An Obama-appointed federal judge has struck down New York's climate liability law that would have required fossil fuel companies to pay up to $75 billion into a state fund, according to The Center Square.
U.S. District Court Judge Brenda Sannes also determined that federal law bars New York from collecting money from foreign oil producers, rendering the state law unenforceable. The decision came in response to a lawsuit filed by 22 Republican attorneys general challenging the measure.
