I don't make posts like this very often.
Two years ago, our community showed up for Meals For Moms in a way I'll never forget. I think about that blessing frequently. The support was overwhelming, humbling, and honestly kept our doors open.
Today, I'm asking for that same support again.
For nearly 17 years, Meals For Moms has served Jonesboro through new babies, surgeries, illnesses, meal trains, busy seasons, celebrations, and those days when life simply felt overwhelming.
We've watched children grow up, customers become friends, and families trust us to put food on their tables.
The last several months have been incredibly challenging for small businesses, and we are no exception.
One thing most people don't know is that for months I've been running Meals For Moms largely by myself, with occasional help from some truly incredible friends.
The team that helped build Meals For Moms is still here. Because business has been slow, they've picked up temporary jobs and side hustles to make ends meet. Yet they've continued to tell me they're ready to come back whenever we need them.
That kind of loyalty is something I will never take for granted. Their belief in this business during one of the hardest seasons we've faced has humbled me more than I can put into words.
I've spent the last several months doing everything I can to keep these doors open because I believe this business is worth fighting for.
I'm not asking for donations. I'm simply asking you to remember we're here.
