We are committed to starting our appointments with our clients on time and conducting them in a timely manner. We commit to practice law in a professional manner and with the highest level of integrity. We pledge to do so in a timely manner and charge fair and reasonable rates. We endeavor not to agree to practice law in areas that we are totally unqualified or unfamiliar with. However, we are also committed to a willingness to consider new areas of practice or taking on novel cases. We vow to never back down from a challenge simply because of its complexity or uniqueness. We are committed to providing some of our legal services to the indigent at reduced rates and also on a pro bono basis. We vow to never refuse a client or his/her cause based upon race/ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, physical or mental disabilities, political beliefs or public perception. We believe that diversity and inclusion must be important to those with whom we do business. We make a concerted effort to spend a significant portion of our funds with minority and female owned businesses and vendors. However, we expect excellent service from all with whom we invest our resources.

This week we’re celebrating 10 years with our Trial Assistant, Malcolm Clemons!

Malcolm is not only an important part of our team, but also Todd’s oldest son, making his decade of service to the firm even more special.

Over the past 10 years, Malcolm has become someone our attorneys, staff, and clients can always count on. He meets with clients, helps them navigate the process, and is always willing to jump in and assist with whatever needs to be done.

And after 10 years, Malcolm has officially earned veteran status around here. Aside from Courtney, who has him beat at 13 years, and Todd (who technically gets unlimited seniority since he owns the place 😂) Malcolm is now our longest-serving employee!

We’re thankful for his loyalty, dedication, and everything he continues to do for our clients and our firm.

We are proud to share that Todd and Micah have been featured in the June/July 2026 edition of the Louisiana Bar Journal as part of the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Board of Governors and Young Lawyers Division leadership spotlight.

Todd continues to serve Louisiana’s legal profession through his leadership on the LSBA Board of Governors, while Micah represents the next generation of attorneys as a Young Lawyers Division District Representative.

When someone’s future is on the line, having experienced legal representation matters.

Todd recently joined KPLC’s Brendan Brown to discuss Act 28 and how the new law creates educational opportunities for eligible incarcerated individuals by allowing them to earn up to 90 days of credit toward their projected good-time parole supervision date through completion of an associate’s degree.

We encourage everyone to watch the interview and hear Attorney Clemons’ perspective.
