Not only is this recipe vegan, using flaxseed meal and water as an egg replacement, it’s gluten free too, courtesy of Trader Joe’s Cassava Cauliflower Blend Baking Mix. This gluten-free blend is a great substitute for wheat and lends itself to making a gloriously fudgy brownie. If the aroma of freshly baked brownies prompts you to dig in before they cool completely, try serving in a bowl with a spoon—otherwise, they will firm up as they sit.
