✨ Changes are happening to improve the system for YOU! ✨

These changes won’t happen overnight, but the goal is to make the process BETTER, FASTER & MORE CONVENIENT for everyone! 🙌

Please remember to be kind, patient, and understanding as the OMV and Public Tag Agents (PTAs) transition to this new system over the next year or so. 💜

Yes, the transition is being done in stages — and there’s a reason for that! Each stage is designed to help everyone adjust to the changes without overwhelming the system all at once. This gradual rollout helps prevent the system from becoming inundated with changes and potentially crashing.

Change can take time, but these improvements are being made with the goal of creating a smoother and more efficient experience for everyone.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this transition together! 💜🚗✨

Louisiana OMV to Close Tuesday, September 15, for System Modernization

The Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV) will close all customer service centers on Tuesday, September 15, to complete the transition from its antiquated mainframe to its new modernized system.

The conversion to Drive360 represents an unprecedented change for the OMV and a significant transformation in serving Louisiana residents. While the agency recognizes the impact of extending the closure, it greatly appreciates the public’s patience as the agency completes this important modernization effort.

Offices are scheduled to reopen and resume normal operations once additional validation and readiness reviews are completed. Updates will be provided as they become available, and residents are encouraged to check www.expresslane.la.gov.

Reminder we will be CLOSED on Monday September 14th for upgrades!!!

⚠️ A heads-up for those who need to get things done soon.
