A retired gentleman was enjoying a bicycle ride when a distracted driver struck him from behind. He passed away at the scene, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply.
The insurance company initially denied fault. We met with the family and immediately began investigating - utilizing our full-time investigator to gather bodycam footage and scene photos that proved what happened. The evidence was clear, and the insurance company quickly reversed course, offering their $250,000 policy limit.
But we believed there was more available. After discovering an additional $1,000,000 policy and negotiating with the carrier, we secured the full $1.25 million in coverage for the family.
Wrongful death cases are some of the most difficult work we do, personally and professionally. But representing families during the worst moments of their lives is deeply meaningful and part of our calling.
