Some days are better than other days, part 4!!!! Because, why stop on just one day!

Today, after working for a couple of days with a juvenile client's father and our juvenile prosecutor, I was able to demonstrate that my young man had turned things around, through charges in another county, and that an additional charge in our County did not deserve further prosecution. Very glad to have a reasonable mind in that chair in the DA's office! Also glad my client earned this result. Its not always about getting people off, but frequently about justice!!!

Some days are better than other days, part 3!!!!!!

Recently I was asked to assist a young man who had a pending appointment to the US Naval Academy. Many of you are aware of my multiple strong ties to the military community, not the least of which was my building the Hays County Veterans Treatment Court I put a lot of hard, quick work in, reached into my wide network for advice and assistance, and helped close a situation that secured my client's appointment. I waived any fee of course but did say I would love some USNA swag. Today, I came back to my office from Court to find this. What a fantastic feeling to have this successful resolution and this awesome appreciation!

Some days are better than other days, part 1!!!!

Recently we were pleased to have represented a man we believe was unlawfully arrested without a warrant, for an alleged felony that was all based on false statements and doctored evidence presented to a responding law enforcement officer. Ive blacked out information that might reveal the innocent client's name but here is a decline letter from the Assistant District Attorney, dated July 27, less than four months after the arrest. Very happy to be able to find justice for our clients!!!!

Can you tell me where you were on July 13, 1985? David can, he was at Live Aid at JFK Stadium. For over 40 years he held on to the program from that iconic concert. Thankfully he did not throw it out because now that program and donation letter hang in the Irish Rock ‘n’ Roll Museum in Dublin, Ireland. Glick Law has gone international!
