📅 March 16, 2026
Deadline to file the return or request a 6-month extension using Form 7004.

📅 September 15, 2026
Extended return deadline.

Always a good time to double-check that clients have either filed or submitted their extension to avoid late filing penalties.

IRS will allow efiling of returns 1/26/26. Please wait until you have all your firms, W2's, 1099's 1099-bank interest, brokerage statements etc. So your return is filed accurately and completely.
