🚨 SOBER—BUT ARRESTED FOR DUI.

Fort Collins has reportedly agreed to pay $500,000 after an officer arrested a driver for DUI even though the driver was sober.

The case is a reminder that DUI investigations often depend heavily on an officer’s interpretation of a driver’s appearance, behavior, coordination and performance on roadside tests.

Those observations are not infallible.

⚖️ An arrest is not a conviction.
⚖️ Field sobriety tests are not scientific proof of impairment.
⚖️ Police officers can make mistakes.

Anyone accused of DUI deserves a careful review of the stop, body-camera footage, testing procedures and all available evidence.

🚔 25 MINI BOTTLES. ONE DUI ARREST.

Arizona DPS says troopers pulled over a driver in Tempe after reports of erratic driving.

According to investigators, the driver admitted to drinking several "shooter" bottles before driving. Troopers later reported finding approximately 25 mini bottles of peppermint schnapps inside the vehicle, along with a reported 0.28 BAC.

The story is a reminder that impaired driving doesn't just put the driver at risk—it endangers everyone else on the road.

If you choose to drink, plan a safe ride home.

If you're facing DUI charges in Arizona, remember that an arrest is not a conviction. Every case should be carefully evaluated based on the facts, the stop, and the evidence.

🚨 46 CRIMINAL CHARGES. ONE NIGHT.

Arizona authorities say a woman is facing 46 criminal charges after allegedly:

🚶 Striking a pedestrian
🏃 Leaving the scene
🏠 Crashing into a home
👧 Endangering multiple children inside

Police say the charges include aggravated DUI, assault, endangerment, and leaving the scene of an accident. Investigators allege the chain of events left two people seriously injured and caused major damage to the home.

One alleged decision can lead to dozens of criminal charges when multiple victims are involved.

If you're facing criminal allegations in Arizona, understanding the charges—and your legal rights—is critical.

🚔 **CITY CAMERAS. REAL-TIME TRACKING. ONE WRONG-WAY DRIVER STOPPED.**

A suspected impaired driver was traveling the wrong way on a Chandler roadway when police used real-time city cameras to track the vehicle and direct officers to its location.

According to police, the driver refused to stop and swerved around patrol vehicles. Officers ultimately used a patrol car to bring the dangerous situation to an end before anyone was hurt. The driver now faces charges including aggravated DUI and failure to yield.

Technology is changing modern policing.

Real-time cameras, coordinated communications, and rapid response can help prevent tragedies before they happen.

Whether you support these tools or have concerns about expanding surveillance, one thing is clear: impaired driving can create life-threatening situations in seconds.

Stay safe. Never drive impaired.

🚔 EXPECT TO SEE MORE RED & BLUE THIS HOLIDAY WEEKEND.

The Kingman Police Department and the Western Arizona DUI Task Force increased DUI enforcement over the Fourth of July weekend, with additional officers on patrol looking for impaired drivers. The campaign was funded through the Arizona Governor's Office of Highway Safety and focused on keeping holiday roads safe.

If you're celebrating, remember:

🍺 Don't drink and drive.
🚗 Plan a sober ride home.
📱 Use a rideshare or designate a driver.

If you do find yourself arrested for DUI, remember that an arrest is not a conviction. Every case deserves a careful review of the traffic stop, the investigation, field sobriety testing, and any chemical test results.

Stay safe, celebrate responsibly, and enjoy the holiday.

HE BLAMED THE TRAFFIC LIGHT.

That's reportedly the explanation a Florida driver gave after deputies say he crashed a yellow Hummer into a guardrail.

According to authorities, the driver was allegedly:
🚙 Driving under the influence
🚫 Driving on a suspended license
💥 Involved in a single-vehicle crash

While unusual excuses may grab headlines, they don't change the legal consequences.

In Arizona, DUI charges can carry serious penalties—including jail time, license suspension, fines, ignition interlock requirements, and a criminal record.

⚖️ If you're facing DUI charges, your best defense isn't an excuse—it's experienced legal representation.
