Hello Everyone,
Tax season has officially started. Are you ready to file your tax return?
All you will need for us to do them is:
A copy of last year’s tax return (if you are new to ABS Bookkeeping)
A copy of IDs for every adult on the tax return
social security cards for everyone on the tax return (we can take copies)
And all “Important tax documents” i.e W-2s, 1099-Rs, 1099-INTs, 1099-DIVs, 1099-Bs, 1098s, 1098-Ts
Just a reminder if you have a 1065 Partnership, 1120 S Corporation, or 1041 Estate or Trust, these business tax returns are due March 15th.

Beneficial Ownership Information Report (BOIR) Filing Deadline:
In case you are unaware, if your business entity (LLC, Corp, Partnership, S-Corp) is registered with a state you must file a BOIR by December 31st (if you have not already).
This is just a informational report establishing your business information/owners and that you are still active.
The website is https://boiefiling.fincen.gov/fileboir

Taxpayers who sell items or provide a service and get paid by payment card or through a payment app, may get a Form 1099-K reporting those transactions.

Another wonderful season on the record books. Although our office is never really done with taxes :) Thank you to all of our wonderful clients for their continuing support.
Just a reminder personal extensions are good until October 15th.

I know this post is late, but we wanted to let y'all know that we will be closed today January 31 and tomorrow February 1, 2023 due to the severe weather.
ABS Bookkeeping & Tax Services always follows KISD's weather schedule, so if they are closed we are too. And if they are on a delayed schedule, we will open at 11am.

Hello Everyone,
Another day another tax season! The official start to the 2023 filing season will be January 23rd. Employers have until January 31st give out or to mail all W-2's and 1099-MISC/1099-NEC. Be sure all of your information including name, address and social security number is correct.
