In the timeless story of Chanukah, a small band of Maccabees faced overwhelming darkness, yet with unwavering faith and courage, they kindled a flame that miraculously burned for eight days, symbolizing the eternal triumph of light over oppression and hope over despair. Today, as we grapple with the heartbreaking tragedy at Bondi Beach—where families gathered to celebrate the Festival of Lights were struck by senseless hatred and violence—we are reminded that even in our deepest sorrow, the essence of Chanukah endures. Just as that ancient miracle defied the odds, so too does the human spirit rise resilient, united in solidarity, compassion, and determination to combat darkness with acts of kindness and unbreakable hope. This Chanukah, let us honor the victims by adding our own light to the world, proving once again that no shadow can extinguish the flame of hope that burns within us.

In Managing Partner Mike Noonan's eyes, the key is to "hire people who are really, really serious about their work, but who don't take themselves too seriously".

But we aren't stopping here, and we can't wait for what the future holds.
