This Oris Aquis Sun Wukong Limited Edition watch is in fantastic condition. The dial is very unusual and conveys the idea of Sun Wukong (The Monkey King) spinning his staff with some method of raised lines...not sure what that is called. But it's spectacular. The minute hand is Sun Wukong's staff in coloration. He has the power to make it big, or small enough to fit behind his ear. The mythology of the Monkey King is quite elaborate. He's one of the most celebrated characters in Chinese mythology - accompanying a monk to India to bring back Buddhist scriptures.

I'm also just including for no charge my Seiko Save The Oceans Antarctica Edition - with the CUTEST little penguin footprints on the dial. It has a rubber strap on it now but I'm including the metal bracelet with ALL links. Plus the invoice for it from the store in Colorado where I bought it a couple of years ago. I just don't wear it. Best lume I've ever seen.

I'm 61 and very, very careful with my watches. I bought a pre-owned Rolex Explorer and that's really all I wear now. I am not that into collecting watches. I have a ginormous Casio G-Shock Barcelona Match Day watch that is absurdly big and has most of the features of an apple watch... it's like 3/4 of an inch thick. It's fun to wear sometimes. That's about it.

That’s really all. The Panerai is close. You can see that receipt. You can see that I have every single piece of paperwork with all of the relevant numbers on them. There are always going to be micro scratches on such a high polish watch as the Panerai.

When I did use it in a city, it distorted everything, of course. It's really a landscape type lens at 20mm, in my opinion. There is not a spec of dust on the lens, or any kind of scratches whatsoever or your money back.

So it’s effectively new, OPEN BOX. No dings or scratches, nothing. In the end I’ll end up with half of the price I paid only a few months after I bought it.

It is extremely upsetting when the cost of a green packaging solution like Ranpak.com exceeds our ability to pay for that solution.

Our industry should be ashamed of using bubble wrap and styrofoam.

I am ashamed and it pains me. Because it’s basically true that if you’re not part of the solution you’re part of the problem in such cases.

Above all else I’m STILL the guy who moved to St Louis to attend Washington University School of Law to BECOME an environmental lawyer 30+ years ago. Unfortunately me and the Socratic method didn’t get along too well.

But I’m still that person and it’s atrocious that we use the materials that we can afford and have to live with the psychic consequences of this choice to stay in business.

Cognitive dissonance isn’t funny.

At home we are have been recycling for decades. What the town actually does with it is still a mystery.

Shipping is a necessary thing but it comes at a massive cost. Think of the jet fuel required to get billions of packages flown around the earth in the shortest time possible.

Amazon alone is definitely decimating the skies with toxic fumes. And tens of thousands of vehicles spewing toxic fumes. Everyone loves the convenience, but nobody is going to like the price tag for the destruction of the Earth.

Definitely not my style- but it is indeed a very, very valuable Louis Vuitton vintage chest that seems like beautiful, aged (possibly) leather wallpaper. I’ve seen LV chests online that go for over $250K. So someone loves them! I do appreciate the historical value for sure!
