Congratulations to the 2011 Unified FC boys team for earning a trip to the USYS National Tournament in Utah in July! After back-to-back weekends at the state tournament in St. Louis where these boys went 5-0 and played their hearts out, the next stop is Nationals. This is where YOU come in 🙂 We’ve got 16 kids planning to travel to Utah where they are guaranteed play for at least three days, possibly up to seven - that’s a lot of hotel nights. Between the airline tickets and the lodging, we are faced with significant travel expenses. Can you help make our soccer dreams come true? It’s the Summer of Soccer, especially here in Kansas City - let’s keep the World Cup spirit going by making the 2011 Unified FC boys’ soccer dreams come true. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to make sure that every kid who needs help getting to Utah has it. If you are able to donate before June 29, that would be most helpful. All donations received here will go directly to the team manager, Vincent Pastorino. (Or Venmo me and I’ll forward it on). If you prefer to receive a receipt for your donation for tax purposes, please let Vince know in the text of the donation and include your address, as well as a note saying “2011B US Nationals”. You may also write a check made payable to Unified FC Foundation, PO Box 29184, Parkville, MO 64152. Please include “2011B US Nationals” on the memo line.
