I love my family. I love a good gathering. I love making memories. Let me start there. 😂

BUT being the child of the people who host EVERYTHING is a very specific life experience. 😭

Because when your parents are the hosts, you’re not a guest… you’re staff. 😂

Setting up. Cleaning up. Running to the store. Moving chairs. Answering the door. And somehow there’s always a “real quick, can you…” waiting for you. 😭😂

Meanwhile everybody else gets to just pull up, eat, laugh, pack a plate and GO HOME?!

And the fact that I filmed this while my parents were actively hosting Labor Day in the background makes it even funnier. 😂

Wouldn’t trade the memories or having a family that genuinely enjoys being together for anything. 🤎 But Netflix, thank you for finally giving me the opportunity to tell my story. 😂

Technically it’s still summer, but I’m already romanticizing fall. 🍎🍂

So I took a little day trip to Weston, Missouri—and honestly, this might be one of my favorite ways to get a head start on fall without going too far from Kansas City.

We started at for apple picking, made our way to , and ended with a w**e + dessert pairing at Weston W**e Company. And yes… the apples made it all the way home and into a homemade pie. 🥧

Girlie clothes , girlie hair, girlie shoes , girlie drinks , girlie laughs and shenanigans.
