Nothing means more to us than hearing from the families we get to work with.

Helping people protect what they have built and provide for the ones who matter most is the whole reason we do this. When clients tell us the process felt clear, easy, and genuinely supportive, it tells us we are doing it right.

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to share their experience. We are grateful for your trust.

If you have been thinking about setting up your estate plan or family trust, we would love to help you feel just as confident.

The day your child turns 18, you lose the legal right to make decisions for them. Even in an emergency.

If they're at college and something happens, the hospital does not have to tell you anything. You are legally a stranger.

A healthcare power of attorney and HIPAA form fix this in twenty minutes. Every parent of an adult child needs to know this.

Three things most people don't realize about probate in Missouri:

1. It's public. Once your will is filed with the court, anyone can see what you owned and who got it. Your finances become an open book.
2. It takes a long time. Simple estates can take months. Complex ones can take over a year. Your family is waiting the entire time.
3. It costs money. Court fees, attorney fees, personal representative fees - it adds up fast, and it all comes out of the estate your family was supposed to receive.

The good news? A trust avoids all three. No court. No public record. No waiting.

That's not a sales pitch - it's just how the law works. And most families don't find out until it's too late to do anything about it.

"Kelisen was a great presenter of all different kinds of scenarios and explained everything very well. Sydney followed up attentively. Bekka was wonderful and efficient."
When clients take the time to mention every person on the team by name - that tells us we're doing this right. Estate planning is personal, and every person you interact with at our firm should make you feel taken care of.
Thank you for trusting The Binder Firm with your family's plan. It was a pleasure working with you.
