JRJ Law Firm has closed effective May 31st. Thanks to the support of many of you who have followed this page, my caseload has increased and the complexity of some of the cases I am handling continues to grow. For that reason, some months ago, I began looking for a small firm where I could join a team for additional support while I continue to build and grow my own practice. It is important to me that I have appropriate resources to best serve my clients, and I'm very excited to be joining Fagan & Emert, LLC where those resources will be available while still providing a small firm experience for my clients.

We are off to a good start here! Business is growing AND two great wins in Jackson County for clients this month! It's a rare event - particularly in Jackson County, Missouri - to be able to boast obtaining a preliminary injunction and summary judgment in the same month! I'm so happy to have helped my clients reach these results.

Do you know a law student that isn't interested in the traditional "firm" track, but instead wants to own and run their own practice? I'm looking for entrepreneurial law students to hire as part-time, largely virtual clerks beginning next semester, with potential employment opportunities following graduation. My goal: mentor young lawyers while they help me grow my business and then support those same lawyers when they are ready to start their own practice. Resumes welcome.
