Today, King & Bondi, LLC is proud to recognize our very first intern, Ms. Brooke Cephas, and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., who has been an invaluable part of our team for the past three years.

Brooke is entering her senior year at the University of Missouri, where she is majoring in Political Science (Pre-Law) with a minor in Criminal Justice. She is on track to begin law school in the Fall of 2027.

During her time with King & Bondi, Brooke has played a meaningful role in our criminal defense practice, assisting with pretrial release litigation, motions to suppress, trial preparation, and other aspects of criminal litigation. Her keen eye for detail, strong work ethic, and dedication to our clients have made her an important member of our team and will undoubtedly serve her well throughout her legal career.

We are especially proud that Brooke plans to return home and practice law right here in Will County, where we know she will make a lasting impact on our community.

Brooke, we wish you nothing but success during your senior year. We cannot wait to celebrate your accomplishments—and yes, we fully intend to be the loudest people cheering (and probably obnoxiously yelling!) when you walk across that stage at graduation.
